What was the highlight of Martin's Patershof
Amazing room but too much queuing
Certainly a different experience but loved it. Cleverly converted into a hotel. Having a bedroom with stained glass was a hit & has left us with a special memory. Huge array at breakfast & again a wonderful setting but see comments in what I didn’t like.
The queuing & battle to sit at breakfast marred the experience as did the huge queue to check out, especially when everything had been paid for & all we were doing was returning the key. At breakfast there were insufficient seats with no staff assisting the queue. It all seemed a bit chaotic. Maybe it would have helped for guests to choose a time for breakfast rather than having some 20 people standing waiting for others to finish.

Original Hotel in a good location, but disappointing rooms.
Central location. V good breakfast Unique decor. Comfy bed. I’m allergic to carpets, and we were very lucky to be able to change room. They have only two rooms without carpet. V grateful for that.
Old Carpets all over. Dark rooms. Outdated and needs refurbishing. Room wasn’t ready at 16:00, but check out was at 11:00.
